Bestowing Hope began in 2011 as an outreach ministry to support a South African nonprofit by providing funding, that helped build a preschool for underprivileged children whose parents live with HIV-AIDS. The ministry expanded to providing baskets of food during Thanksgiving to under-served families in the city of Azusa, California.
Due to pressing local needs, the founder realized the importance of formalizing the ministry as a nonprofit to help raise funds to fulfill the ministry's mission and vision. In 2017, by God’s grace, the I.R.S. approved Bestowing Hope Ministries as a 501(c)(3). As a result, donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. We gratefully accept donations of all sizes in His name, which go directly to the ministry's work; the trustees receive no salaries or benefits.
The ministry continues to expand, offering an annual Ladies' Spring Tea Event. It was created as an outreach to share the Gospel and extend God's love, allowing women to receive salvation and experience Christian fellowship. Profits from this event benefit local under-served individuals and families.
Today, through this ministry, financial supporters and volunteers work to reach those who may feel hopeless. One of the primary causes is a local prison ministry, specifically the California Institution for Women (CIW) in Chino, CA. As a result of generous contributions, Bestowing Hope Ministries was able to provide Bibles and other materials to the entire women's population at CIW to study the Word of God. Many women are working towards release and hope to one-day worship with believers on the outside. We minister to incarcerated women to help them establish a relationship with Jesus for themselves. Bestowing Hope Ministries also partners with other organizations to help the homeless population.
We accept gratefully accept donations of any amount, to work together towards fulfilling The Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20.
Bestowing Hope Ministries exist to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through creative methods, giving those, we encounter the hope of Salvation.
The vision of Bestowing Hope Ministries is to fulfill Jesus’ command, The Great Commission:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, Amen." (Matthew 28: 19-20, KJV).
We serve those who may be hopeless or in need. We also support incarcerated women, underserved individuals and families throughout the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding counties. Our purpose is to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, while meeting everyday needs of those we come in contact with.
